Born and raised in Traverse City, MI, Captain Ski is a USCG Certified Captain who has spent more than 20 years exploring and mastering the waters of Grand Traverse Bay and beyond. His love for fishing started early, and after years of taking friends and family out on the water, he discovered that sharing those moments—whether it’s someone’s very first fish or a hard-fought trophy catch—was what truly fueled his passion. That joy ultimately inspired him to turn his lifelong hobby into a professional charter business.
The Fleet
BIG RED
Our 20’ Lund Fisherman Deep V is built for both stability and comfort. The Deep V hull cuts smoothly through choppy water, providing a steady ride even on windier days. Inside, the boat offers plenty of seating and space to spread out, making it perfect for both serious anglers and families.
Groups of 1 to 3 guests enjoy the most comfortable ride and optimal rod time, though 4 is perfectly fine as well. If your group is larger than 4, please contact me directly to discuss options for accommodating your party.
Our Fishing Destinations
Depending on the time of year, we fish the productive waters of the Grand Traverse Bays and Lake Michigan to put you on the best bite. Our season kicks off in the early spring and summer targeting aggressive Lake Trout, Steelhead, and Cisco. As we head into July and through late September, we shift our focus to chasing hard-fighting King Salmon. No matter when you join us, Northern Michigan offers incredible fishing opportunities for anglers of all skill levels.
